Rule of Law Must Be Followed In Pennsylvania Ballot Counting

As election officials complete the ballot counting, canvass, and certification process in Pennsylvania, Secure Democracy USA’s Vice President of Advocacy Charley Olena issued the following statement:

“Every legal ballot should be counted in Pennsylvania, and doing that requires that election officials follow the law, including decisions from the commonwealth’s courts. To ensure free, fair, and accurate elections, our system requires all those involved – from voters to election officials to those we elect to represent us – to follow the law and respect the governing checks and balances. We urge all election officials in Pennsylvania to respect the rule of law.”
